Slice The Pie Review 2018: Is It Worth Your Time?

Slice the pie 2018 review is it a scam

Welcome to my Slice The Pie 2018 Review!

You may have seen several reviews about this platform online that presents it as a music review platform.  However, this has changed since those reviews and my review has the latest information.

STP has partnered with some fashion and department stores which will allow you to review not just music but the next season’s fashion and accessories.

So they have expanded and it sure does sound like a great way to earn money online but have they expanded to scam you at a higher level?

I’m glad you’re here doing your due diligence as there are so many review sites that claim you can earn money but after submitting your review you find that they don’t cough up or what you are paid wasn’t worth your time and effort.

If you want a guaranteed way to make money online check out my review on how to do it here.

Anyways, let’s begin this review …

Slice The Pie Review

What Is Slice The Pie About?

It is a paid review site where you will get paid to review songs, products fashion items and accessories.  It is free to join.

The reviewing of fashion items is a recent addition as the site was mostly geared towards reviewing songs.

The platform is great for new up and coming artists and designers who want feedback on their ‘product’ – so they will upload their work and people like you and me will review them and get paid for doing so.

How Does It Work?

By signing up to the platform, you can leave a review in any of the 4 categories as seen below.

By leaving a review, you will make money.  You can also make money by referring a friend as they have an affiliate program.   Once you have signed up, and you are in the members’ area, click on the ‘Refer A friend’ menu item to get your unique code.

Anyways, back to the 4 categories (only 4 at the time of writing this review) that you can choose from to leave a review:

  1. Music
  2. Branding
  3. TV Series
  4. Lucky Dip

They all follow the same process in that before leaving a review, you are asked questions concerning the option you have chosen.

So when I chose music, I was given a selection of genres from which I can choose which ones I’m interested in and then select the level of interest – from 1 to 10.  Where 10 means “I absolutely love it”  and 0 being “I hate it”.

You will need to listen to at least 90 minutes of the music before you can submit your review.

Most of the follow-on questions use the rating system as well where you will rate each question from 0 – 10.

One of the questions I was asked for a music review was:

If this piece of music was a person, to what extent would you describe them as.  There were statements such as:

Honest, happy, gentle, peaceful, personal, pleasant, positive and, sexy and you would rank them from 0 -10.

So you can see that it is a nice simple way to earn a few dollars… but it takes time.  Time, that can be spent better doing something that can earn you more than a few dollars.

More on that later.

I found the Branding Review interesting.

I was given the Sure Paskchot product to review.  A lot of products that you see in stores have been through processes like this before they hit the shelf so it is a possibility that you will have been instrumental in how the product is advertised and promoted.

Reviewing products can help with market research so if you are interested in this field, this might be a great way to start.

You will begin to understand what it is that product owners are looking for in their products and the types of questions that you should be asking to market and brand products that will appeal to consumers.

This platform can also be used to help with your market research skills if this is the route you want to take.

Is Slice The Pie A Scam?

Slice The Pie isn’t a scam. However, there are much better ways to earn money online than spending hours just to earn a couple of dollars reviewing music and fashion.  If it’s your thing then fine but you can review music and fashion and earn much higher commissions than what you get with this platform.

This is the method I use and it’s called Affiliate Marketing.

With this model, you can review any product of your choice and earn a commission when someone buys the product using your own unique link.

There are literally 1000’s of products to choose from and it is an ever growing market as more and more physical stores are closing and expanding online.

  • It’s a legitimate way to earn money
  • Refer a friend and you can earn a commission – 20% of all their review earnings for 60 days, then 10% thereafter
  • If you are a music producer and want to be the first to hear a potential record breaker and get a contract, this can be a great platform

  • You will only earn a few dollars per hour
  • Not worth your time
  • Your account can be closed for a ‘poor’ review
  • Payment delay as your review needs to be reviewed twice
  • Pay is as low as $0.05 per review
  • Very pedantic in their assessment of reviews – cases of people using the same words more than once in a review has caused accounts to be suspended

I do not recommend Slice The Pie.  It is a legit app but it isn’t worth your time and effort.

If you like writing reviews then Affiliate Marketing is a better fit for you.  With this business model, you can review any product and if anyone makes a purchase using your special link, then you will earn a commission.

Check out the short video below that shows you what Affiliate Marketing is without all the fluff.

As an Affiliate Marketer, you will set up your website around your interest and write product reviews.  So if you’re interested in Dogs you can set up your website and review dog food, dog accessories, dog games etc and promote the relevant products.

You will need to join an affiliate program (or several – there are no limits) that sell the items you want to promote and then display them on your website.  When someone makes a purchase, you earn a commission.

You will be given the images and your own unique link to use.

This method can see you earning a full-time passive income online.  Something you will certainly not achieve with Slice The Pie.

If you want to find out how I have created a passive income stream click the button below where I will reveal to you in a review, the platform that I use.

Affiliate Marketing is a great way to make money online but it takes a lot of hard work, commitment and dedication.  Anything worth your while will mean hard work.

Submitting reviews on Slice The Pie is something you can do without much thought which is why the payout is so low.   If the payout was much higher, I can guarantee you that your review will have to go through several steps before it will get the green flag.

Stop wasting time doing reviews and surveys and create your own online business which will see you earning more than you can imagine.

Your future is in your hands.  Make this happen for you.

Thanks for reading my Slice the Pie Review.  I hope it has helped you to make a decision on whether to join the platform or to become an Affiliate Marketer.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them below and I will get back to you.

Until next time, take care.
